Sewing Saturday

Yes I finally got to sew again!!! Yeah!!!  Dear hubby was in the garage all day covered in dirt and grease, tearing the jeep apart to put in a new lift kit, so we can get the new tires and rims on. He has been driving on slicks for a few months now, and we need the jeep in a week and a half when we go on vacation, so this is his weekend. It is Thunder Beach this weekend too, and the motorcycles will not be leaving the garage because he has more important things to do. Soooooooo that means I am sewing away, as much as I possibly can. In between I did all the laundry, all the dishes, and cooked too. Yippee very productive day.

First off I worked on my guild blocks that need to be done by the week I get back from vacation.

Then I worked on sewing a back for a quilt that has been sitting there for awhile. I knew I didn't have enough fabric but this week I received a yard of some camping fabric, (along with other squishies too) so I am using that to see if I have enough now. If not, I seen some more in JoAnn's this past week. Might have to make a trip.

I added a few more strips to hubbies quilt, but man that quilt is going to take some serious time. Not going to be done in 10 days so I am putting it to the side to get other things done.

Then when Bonnie came on her Quiltcam I took the laptop upstairs and pulled this mystery out since it is still on the table, trying to get the top done so I can get it off the table. Will try to finish it tomorrow.

I need the tables semi cleared so I can get to the rest of my list I posted about earlier this week done. More sewing will be done tomorrow, as for now. I am off to bed, didn't sleep good again last night, up half the night, then out of bed way to early, then back to bed for a very interrupted nap, then been going full speed all day long. Night night all.

Is it possible to get a copy of the template for the lady bugs? I understand if you'd like it to be a unique piece. I just think it's absolutely adorable and would LOVE to make my Grandma a table runner to brighten her apartment. Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon!!
