Vacation has begun.........

Ever going on vacation and it doesn't feet like it??? Told my boss remember I am off tomorrow, he replied aren't you off for a whole week? OH YEAH! I AM!!!  I forgot! So lets have a little giveaway.

Late last year I was testing patterns for a few designers out there, and I got a special little package in the mail earlier this week. Kim from Chatterbox Quilts sent me a few patterns of the one I tested out. She has them all printed and ready to be sold. It is a table runner she calls the pattern Tweet-Heart.

So with it being Memorial Day leave me a comment on this post, telling me if you or anyone in your family has ever been in the Military. I will pick a winner next Wednesday. If you don't win you can go to her blog and click her Etsy shop button I am sure she has them in her shop.

My grandfather and stepdad were both in the Navy, my ex hubby was in the Army (when I was with him) and my nephew is currently in the Navy! Happy Memorial Day!

Many of my older relatives were in the service and now my son is an active member of the US Army to be deployed this fall. This mother has a heavy heart. We have always honored Memorial Day by taking part in our Town's Memorial activities.

My Dad was in the Korean War - photographer in the Navy on an aircraft carrier. His brother was career Army. And my darling nephew just finished basic training for the Army Infantry. I am so proud of him!

Glad to see that you received the patterns and fabric, Anne Marie. It certainly takes longer to ship things across the border:) Enjoy your time off!
