Sew my stash thin

Since I spent a lot of money time buying fabric last year, as it was on really cheap. I at least doubled what I had left from 2011 when I was on a fabric diet. This year I am putting myself on a much NEEDED fabric diet, and going to Sew my stash thin, again.
I am linking up over at ajsantics with others that are going to be doing the same. I know I added well over 700 yards of fabrics in 2012 to my stash, but I also know I bought less than 10 in 2011. So I know I can do it. I have a lot less room than I did in 2011, so I am more desperate to do this again this time around. I do know I have another box of around 42 yards coming in March or so, but that was paid for way back in September, so I am not counting that as in coming, because it was ordered and paid for long time ago, and there is a spot left on the shelf for it too.

I do know I need fabric for the back of my pink n orange quilt, 5-6 yards, but I haven't anything in the stash that would look good. But that is OK. So do you need to sew your stash thin too?? Come on over and link up too!

I'm always looking for inspiration on fabric diets. But, I also look as stash collections as assets. With price increases they are great investments to our future of quilting.

Enjoy!

I've been on a fabric diet for over a year now. Buying fabric is fun, but using up what I have is even better! :0)
