Konda over at Moose on the Porch is having another QAL. It is a slow paced one. One block every two weeks. Doing stars, and using fat quarters this time. Ok so I went to find me 16 fat quarters.....it is kinda hard to do, when you don't quite know what your actually making, besides stars. But I did find some old fabrics, in green ( I am not too fond of green, period) Figure I would use them up, there was a paisley in there with a little bit of pink, so I found some old school pinks too, then I found this panel, in the same funky old school green and pink, with lots of funky purple, so off to the purple stash too. This is what I came up with. I might have to get some off white tone on tone for the background, or I might have enough, forgot to look. Looks old school huh?!! But hey, I am only shopping from my stash as much as possible. So, they coordinate it is what I am using. Definitely NOT my usual palette that is for sure. Here is what they look like.....
The one on the bottom is the pre-printed panel I found, and there is actually 2 of them, with enough coordinating fabric to back them with. They are only about 44 inches square. Must have liked it at one time if I bought it twice!
