I am in the pink, that is for sure.
I whipped up 2 more for Crossroads.
I have a bunch more 4 patches made. I have been turning those 4 patches into these blocks.
I have done these cool swirlygig pinwheel looking ones too. I like this block, quick and simple too.
Using different sizes, I made up a bunch of these 9 patches with neutral in the centers. They will make 2 totally different quilts. To make sure they really look different that is why I chose to use 2 different sizes too.
This is a pic of the entire design wall, it is really PINK! These are the pieces to 6 of the quilts I am making in this challenge. Not all the quilts will have all the colors in them though.
Not everything is up here yet, still have a bunch sitting at the machine waiting to be fed through the feed dogs.
Still have the last 3 swirlygig blocks, for a total of 5 and all these 4 patch bowties too. Notice the bowties went to the floor on the board.
Friday night it was spent sewing the last of the 4 patches, and working on 4-patch bow tie blocks I think I managed to finish another 12 more after all those 4 patch pieces. Then I cut out the rest of those swirlygig ones and called it a night. This week has wore me out. I might have some 4 patches leftover when I am done, I am not sure but we will see.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I also started to do a paper piecing block.............well I did say started, and not finished.
Do you see where that ripper is pointing?????? There is NO fabric right there...........urgh! That was as far as I went.
I am linking up with Angela's Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Also with FNSI at Heidi's.
What have you been up to???

FNSI
Friday Night Sew In...............I don't get to do that too often, for some reason I usually miss it. Well I got to sew last night, woo hoo, finally!!! I finally got the border on my pink n orange quilt, then got 2 of the 4 side of the pieced border on too.
Instead of just having orange squares in the corners I am going to put some pink stars to match the ones in the quilt, and since I didn't feel like doing that last night, I quit on that project.
While walking over some of my helpers tonight......
I finished straightening my shelves out so now the stash is nice and neat....at least until the next box arrives.
Here is my neutrals with colors on the bottom (Bonnie string fabrics I call them) along with a small stack of Christmas fabrics on the left, and above them my whites and off whites, then my white to gray to black fat quarters on top of the black on whites, and grays. With the last pile being the white on black to black then colors on black, and then BIG black yardage pieces on the bottom.
Then above those shelves I have My purples, my cat and dogs fabric pile and a small pile of batiks. Then 2 shelves of blue with jelly rolls and Bali Pops and Tonga Treats on top.
Then the other shelf unit holds the rest of the rainbow. Pinks and reds on top shelf, with my little pile of orange and then my yellows, and my tans and browns next. 3rd shelf has green to teal, and then LOTS of turquoise. The shelf below that ( no pic) holds all the crazy colored stuff. Then on top is all those bundles of fat quarters just waiting for the plastic to be broken.
Oh and I found the PERFECT piece of fabric for the back of my Christmas strings quilt yesterday too. I scored 5 yards of it for only $15.18 with tax. Savings was $35.72 on the receipt!
It matches perfectly too. So that one will be getting finished hopefully next week while I am off of work, and dear hubby is working!!! Well I am off to Christmas at the Fair to work our Quilt Guild's booth we have there. May your bobbins be full and you get a lot of sewing done this weekend too.

FNSI
Wow I was actually home, and actually got to sew during a Friday Night sew In, that never happens! I usually get to sew the other 3 Fridays of the month. LOL. Sew what did I get done.......Well first I took the Quilt for Kids quilt kit, and whipped the entire top together. Went from what they sent me.....
To the finished top in about an hour. Quick and easy!
Now all I have to do is dig out the batting, and get it quilted so I can mail it back. Since life is about to get 10 times busier than it is already, if that is possible. I will wait to request another one, till I know I have time to get it done and returned in minimal time. Now to move all the projects off the sewing table so I can just free motion quilt this one. It is very small so I think I can do this much quicker that way than loading it on the frame.
After I did that, I sewed more flying geese and then cut out squares to make HST for my UGLY quilt. I am almost done with the geese, then I can cut some strips, and start piecing the blocks together, yipppee.
The camera battery died in hubbies camera, and I think my daughter has mine. So no more pics for this post :(
I de-boned 5 pairs of jeans, only have about 143 more pairs to de-bone.
I cut the fabric for the binding for my yellow quilt and squared up the quilt ready for the binding.
I sewed on the next border on the Christmas string swap quilt. Thinking of what to do to it next.
Fondled the fabrics for the Great Granny QAL, trying to decide which ones I want to use.
Pressed a few more hour glass blocks for the Orca Bay quilt. The pile is getting there.
